What a day !!!
We started so tired and finished up even more. After around 4 hours of sleep I woke up and understood that there is nothing to eat and soon all the kids will be awake and very hungry. Indeed, Tamar woke up first and entered our room already dressed announcing she is so hungry she can die right now. OK, so she wants pasta at 9:00 in the morning and I thanked god - this is something I can prepare without getting out of the house. Meanwhile, Yoni woke up also so we went to the supermarket and bought some groceries to have breakfast. When back, also Yoram was up and we all had a nice breakfast and got ready to our first day.

Since we were so tired
we decided to take it easy and travel close to home. Buckingham palace guards
change is not taking place today (it is every two days), but we had the chance
to see some short guards walk.
A lot of peoples in the city and the national sport - climbing on the statuses outside the palace. Well well..
Yoram wanted to show us Churchill war room but there was a small line and not a lot of interest so we decided today no museum or visits - just wander around the city.
St James park was very nice and green and the weather was great.
We passed nearby Downing 10 and the Cavalier museum but didn't stop until we reached the Trafalgar square. We said no museums so the national galleries remained outside the plan.
We promised Tamar several month ago that she will get a big playmobil so Hamley's here we are. But we need tickets to the train and we did the weekly paper ticket in Charring cross train station. It is costly but surely we will use it. Now - instead of going by tube let's use the bus and see the city. (Google maps is very knowledgeable). As the bus doors open, the kids run upstairs and catch the first row in the bus. What a treat!!!
Hamleys was packed with people. I hope now that we were here they will not close it also as they did with NY Toys-R-Us. Playmobil is on 1st floor, the big wheel Tamar wanted is in our possession. We went also to other floors but except Tamar no one else bought anything.
Well - that's it for the first half day. We were so tired that no temptation to visit other stores. Straight home, buying some meat on the way and having late lunch at home. We had steaks with rice and pasta, an already made soup that was very good. Excellent lunch!
To have a nap or not to have a nap? a big dilemma :). But we understood that if we do have a nap, there is no chance to wake up
afterwards. So a shower instead, some chit chat with Charl our airbnb house
owner and here we go again. Tamar and the kids were not so tired, they built
the playmobil and listened to music and asked nicely to get a SIM card since
there are some specific Pokemons that can be found only here. Since we are very
good parents we went to buy SIM cards and then we decided to walk to the Thames
to see the city at night. Unfortunately a gluten free restaurant crossed our
way and we decided to step in for a quick pizza and to rest a little since the
kids started to say they are very tired. The stop was not so short but all
Tamar dishes were great (and the non gluten free dishes as well). They have all regular pizza's in gluten free variation
and even daught balls that were great (like small buns).
It was hard to convince the kids to continue to the river and we made it only to the Westminster Abbey and saw the Big Ben.
The bus took us home and immediately to bed.
