Shop shop shopping and a lot of miles too - 4-5/8

Today we start our way to Niagara falls. We split the way there into two days. But only driving is boring and why not add an outlet on the way. After a very serious research Ioana selected the mall and here we are.(the mills at jersey garden). We entered at 11:00 and left at 17:00. :- ().  We bought a lot of staff - starting from luggage through bags for school and shoes and clothes and some dolls for desert. We ate also at noon and we ended up with the kids saying: this was the best day so far. Each was happy with his part. Unfortunately, we can't do this every day. And the worst thing is that now we need to drive more than 3  hours to reach the next sleeping point. We did - hardly - more accurately, Yoram did. We slept from time to time. 

The car is very spacious and all our things get in easily. The kids decided on the rules regarding the seats. It is a 7 seats car and seems pretty complicated to decided who seats where and when. The two seats on the second row are separated and there is a bench on the last row. From there only two seats are left since one is folded to have more space for the luggage. Now that we have an additional suitcase ....

The road to Vestal that Waze picked took us alongside the Hudson River and it was really beautiful. We stopped at a gas station and bought some food. Not very tasty but better than nothing. Not the best culinary day today. The hotel we booked for the night checked us in at 21:30 and all where asleep pretty soon. We slept at the Comfort Suites (a mediocre chain), but for one night it was enough. 

The next day we jumped to the closest Walmart to have some food for the way.

Also we looked for things to do on the way and nothing really interesting popped up. We could stopped in Rochester but we saw this only after we passed it. We stopped near one of the finger lakes and had a picnic on the green grass. All the area is really nice. A lot of green and there are violet, blue and yellow flowers on the side of the road.

Near the lake was a recreation area. That means people come with their boats and sail on the lake. There were two guys on the loan under a shadow which I was sure that they are guests but they where the keepers of the place. Yoni and Amir watched the boats being put into the water and we made some sandwiches. We have no idea what the kids are eating but they are still alive so probably fruits and chocolate and a lot of Oreo are doing the job.

We reached buffalo around 17:00 due to some traffic. The hotel is an historical one - in other words is very old. 

The main attraction is still waiting for us, though, as Amir found the best place to go to: Sky Zone. A kind of a Gymboree, but filled with trampolines. We bought an hour of jumping, which passed too quick for them. Even Yoram joined them for half an hour, which was enough for him. It is very tiring to jump for so long :)

We left at 20:00, tired and happy and went to find something to eat. We pin pointed a grill restaurant (Archer's grill and meat), which has many gluten free dishes and headed there. First attempt failed, as Yoram drove to a different restaurant (Betty's). Too much jumping, probably. Second attempt also failed, as we parked at a nearby restaurant, with a similar name (Pearl grill and meat). We were so tired and hungry, so Ioana and the kids entered. Yoram found the Archer restaurant close by, but it was too late. The rest already ordered food. Yoni had Buffalo wings (he loves wings), Amir had mac & cheese (his favorite), Tamar had a gluten free Pizza, Ioana a steak and Yoram a burger. The food was not very good, only Tamar really loved her Pizza. Maybe Archer's was better (it surely was fancier and more expensive).

Unlike New York, here is a bit chilly and the kids (who were not dressed properly) where freezing. We headed back to the hotel (2 minuted drive) and straight to bed. Tomorrow: Niagara Falls!
